Welcome to SET!
The SET Study Platform is like YouTube. You can go anywhere and watch any class. Most classes are independent, so you don’t need any background to watch them and practice.
How should you use the platform?
2. Attend live practice sessions
Click here for more information: SET Study Map
All SET live classes stand alone, which means that you don’t have to watch any previous classes to watch them! In each class, we start from the beginning and anyone can understand and join in.
Want to watch a live class again because you missed it? You can always catch up on missed recent classes here:
Need more help? Watch the videos below ↓
All our live classes are practice-based. What this means is you do not need to watch every live class.
1. Watch any class: in every class we do exam practice so you can join for tips, advice, and PRACTICE.
2. New to OET? No problem, you can watch the OET Introduction courses here:

In ‘writing week’, we write a letter together as a class. A small part of the letter is completed each day:
For example, on Monday we usually plan the letter and select case notes. On Tuesday, the teacher reviews Introduction paragraphs submitted by students. On Wednesday, the teacher reviews paragraph 2 of the letter. Again, these paragraphs have been submitted to the teacher beforehand… Etc.
If you miss any classes that week its easy to catch up by going to ‘COURSES’ and then clicking ‘THIS WEEK’.
For more information, just come to class and ask!
On the SET Study Platform there are 2 essential things:
You can think of this like ‘input’ and ‘output’. The video course is input… you learn what you need to know. The live class sessions are output… you produce work and the teacher gives feedback. This is the interactive part.
